Harvard Architecture: Definition, Advantages & Disadvantages Fig. shows Harvard Architecture. This System architecture was designed and recommended by Harvard University. As per this architecture, the Processor is having two different Memory spaces with separate Memory maps. They are Data Memory and Program Memory respectively. Incandescent Lamps There are two types of incandescent lamp which is mentioned below: 1. Vacuum lamps / Filament lamps 2. Gas filled incandescent lamp These two types are described in Detail below. 1. Vacuum lamps /Filament lamps: These lamps can operate upto the temperature of 2000°C. The commonly used techniques for erasing are as follows: Erasing using ultraviolet radiation. Erasing using electricity. The erasable programmable ROM using ultraviolet erasing is called as EPROM. And the ROM that uses the electrical voltage for erasing is known as electrically alterable ROM (EAROM).
